Friday 24th September saw the launch of the YouTrust’s Cycling Without Age Hayling Trike. The YouTrust have worked hard to train 40 volunteers to man the trike and look forward to their first patients using the trike.
A huge THANK YOU to our outgoing YouTrust manager Elle who worked hard to get this up and running on Hayling Island before she left last month to hand over to new manager, Karen Hobbs. We were delighted to bring the trike to Alan Mak’s community fair on 8th October to show our patient community!
The community trike provides a fantastic service enabling members of our community to get out and about with a friendly volunteer for company. A waiting list is now open for patients who have been referred by a GP or member of the PCN team to use this service.
