We are pleased to confirm that our PCN First Contact Physiotherapists, Jet and Vicky, are now seeing face to face patients in our Hayling Island and Emsworth surgeries. Vicky is working at the Emsworth surgery on a Wednesday and Jet is based at Hayling Island surgery on a Thursday and Friday afternoon. Alongside this, our telephone physio service has now been up and running for 2 months and in the last 4 weeks has served 139 patients by giving advice on managing their musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
Many patients have been managed with a one off session of exercise and advice but we have also referred some patients onto physio or directly into specialist services. Also, this service has already saved a number of our patients many months of waiting for referrals via routine pathways
There is still capacity for more patients to be called by this service and we are keen to support patients and improve their patient journey wherever possible. Contact your surgery directly to find out more about this service.
